Go to whats apps click the status label go to "red Marked" click the ->Three DOT for setting


Click the Status Privacy Option 

Now you can Choose the following 3 Option any one:
Option - >1. My contacts  View everyone
Option - >2. My Contacts and you can hide status to specific contact 
Option - ->3 Only Share with - You can share your status to specific person only
